TECHNIQUE
At Tippy Toe, technique classes are an essential part of our
dance education, and required for all performing ballet students. These classes are where they hone the skills and achievements necessary to support their artistry on stage. For those not participating in our performance program, technique classes remain a valuable opportunity to refine their abilities.
We believe dance is for everyone, regardless of their journey—whether it's in technique, performance, or film. Our technique classes are open to all dancers, including those in contemporary or hip hop, offering them an extra edge in their training. While technique classes are required for ballet students, every dancer can benefit from the foundational skills and strength developed in these sessions.
"Freedom to a dancer means discipline. That is what technique is for - liberation."
