PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

Our Performance Program is designed for dancers who want to grow as artists through meaningful performance experiences.

Throughout the season, dancers perform in three original productions, developing confidence, collaboration, and the ability to communicate through movement. They also have opportunities to perform in the community and participate in special creative projects.

Dancers looking to take their performance training even further can audition for our Ensemble Program, where they receive additional performance opportunities, develop leadership skills, and take on featured roles in our productions.

Participation in the Performance Program is built into all Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and other performance classes. Ballet Performance students also participate in weekly technique classes, building the strong technical foundation that supports artistic expression.

The Reel Masquerade

Saturday | January 9th

The Reel Masquerade is an original coming-of-age production performed by our Level 3–5 dancers and led by our Principal Ensemble. Blending live performance with cinematic storytelling, moments of the production are captured on film, creating a world where the stage and screen become one. Set to an emotional alternative and emo rock soundtrack, the story follows a teenager who has never quite found where they belong. As they retreat into their imagination, the circus-inspired characters from their sketchbook come to life, blurring the line between fantasy and reality. Through film, movement, and music, The Reel Masquerade explores identity, loneliness, and the courage to embrace the parts of ourselves that make us different.

The Magic Slippers

Sunday | January 24th

The Magic Slippers is an original ballet that celebrates the wonder of childhood. After receiving a magical doll as a gift, a young girl is swept into a world of imagination where the two friends dance, explore, and occasionally find themselves in a bit of trouble. Performed by our Beginning–Level 2 dancers, this whimsical production captures the joy, curiosity, and magic of seeing the world through a child's eyes.

Marquee Show

End of June TBD

The Dancing Suites is our full studio production, bringing dancers of all ages together in one original performance. Inspired by the classic nursery rhyme The Queen of Hearts, the story follows the four suits of cards as they journey through a world of playful rivalry, unexpected alliances, and adventure. Filled with imaginative storytelling, original choreography, and larger-than-life characters, The Dancing Suites celebrates the creativity and collaboration that make every Tippy Toe production unique.
